Artist Fellow / James Falzone Performs Panfried
James P Falzone is a 2016 RISD Museum Artist Fellow, a position made possible through funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. Created for piano and electronics in 2001 by New York-based composer and multimedia artist Phill Niblock, “Panfried” is typically presented using purely prerecorded sound. Watch as Falzone, rubbing a single string of piano wire, performs this remarkable composition live for the first time.
