Shen Wei Dance Strokes
Installed as a site-specific exhibition, Shen Wei: Dance Strokes was the first major solo presentation of recent large-scale oil paintings by Shen Wei in Asia. Better known as a dancer and choreographer, Shen’s large-scale oil paintings are conceived as extensions of his dance practice. This exhibition, held from 20 March–14 April 2016, was accompanied by a series of performances in the outdoor spaces of ASHK by Shen Wei Dance Arts.
