Carl Spitzweg – Erwin Wurm: Hilarious! Hilarious? at the Leopold Museum


German artist Carl Spitzweg (1808–1885), whose ironic artworks document and explore the petit bourgeois idylls of the Biedermeier period, receives his first comprehensive exhibition in Austria, complemented by cultural-analytical works by the Austrian sculptor Erwin Wurm.
